time flies. i think i read
this article on ajax probably the day it was published on
adaptive path. that was right around the time i heard about
google maps, and like everyone else, was blown away. what was this whole ajax thing, and how did it work?
my old boss at hollywood created an ajax dropdown menu that was pretty slick around that time, and i wish i would have spent some more time checking out his code. since then, i've been trying to think of a good project idea to use ajax for. i finally found one.
last weekend, i visited
stirman's website, and was amazed by his ajax chat. a little research discovered he built on-top of the
plasticshore ajax chat.
what a great idea! so last sunday, i hit the books all day and in 12 hours, built my own ajax chat.
whats next? well, i already converted my iTunes bar to be ajax-driven. how about an ajax chat bot that will tell you about your local weather? thats next weekend's project.
