before i rant, let me get one thing straight; BT is awesome on an individual musical focus. the soundtrack to monster sucked, granted, but his albums are sweet. he's even beginning to break away from the trance roots and get something more poppy and dance-ish. but now...?
i have to also admit, i have a bias against reality tv. its overrated, obviously. the tv world has jumped on the bandwagon and is polluting our minds with psychosocialbabble of whos hot whos fat whos ballsy whos got the madskillz to make the madmoneyz in the trumphaus.
at any rate, BT has jumped on this bandwagong. i don't mean in an acting sense, either. somehow seeing BT act could only be accomplished on something like the surreal life, and then he'd have to compete with jordan knight's ego.
no.. now he is producing television.. something bam margera is aspiring for, and no.. BT will never reach the ashton kutcher status, who has miraculously established himself as a cultural production icon where everytime someone calls, "BUG," on me at work, i feel like saying instead i got "PUNK'D."
this new reality bites is tommy lee going to college. it sounds like a one-season wonder coming from a music enthusiast-gone-co-television producer.
words of advice to BT: i still stand beside my belief that no amount of trance rave drugs will enhance your creativity enough to entertain americans who already don't care about tommy lee. i will personally still buy your records, but i won't watch the show.
hold that thought..
