hey this is my personal blog, right? that means i can write about anything i want. that means if i ever have a potential employer X years down the road, they can't hold it against me because im not breaking any laws, and im not saying anything defaming to my moral character.
that being said, i want to tell you about the best steak i have ever had. believe it or not, the best steak i have ever had was right here in schaumburg, illinois. this little restaurant/bar, whos name i've already forgotten, has only been open for a few days. i walked in and noticed that it was like the doug fir in portland meets a sports bar. log cabin meets jock.
the steak was a bloody rare piece with lots of spices.. extra juicy. so much flavor and loaded with fat. man, it was great. they also had an assortment of beers on tap and imported bottled beer. (these of course did not even compare to any typical portland bar, but for the greater chicago area its pretty good).
thats my steak story, and i'm sticking to it.
